Deep well injection pumps work by redirecting part of the pumped water back down to the water source and through a venturi injector. By this water running through the injector it will draw more water with it back up to the pump. Though somewhat inefficient, it is still viable in applications where water is difficult to get, or supplying electricity to the water source is too expensive.
These pumps are used in applications where the underground water is below 9 metres and a bore hole pump cannot be used. It is also a preferred alternative if the pump is required at the surface due to maintenance simplicity and easy fault finding. It can also be used in an offset situation to draw water from the source to the needed supply. Each pump is available with two different injectors, sizes P20 and P30 (as shown in the table).
