An alternative to tank-based pressure system is the Hydrotronic Electronic System. The Bluetron 120 is pictured left. The Inox 230H is pictured right.
This switch has revolutionised pressure systems and has made them more user friendly and simpler to use. The switch is connected to the discharge of the pump and operates with an electronic circuit board to sense the pressure and flow in the system.
It will start the pump when you open your house tap and it will stop the pump when the tap is closed.
The benefit of this system is that you will have the constant pressure while you’re using the tap. This is great when you’re in the shower for you will have constant pressure. No pressure fluctuations and no water temperature changes.
The Hydrotronic System also provides for loss of prime protection. This means that the pump will not overheat when you run out of tank water. The pump will shut down austomatically.
